MSome of my personal habits and rules. Most of this ended up being about food and meals ahahaha. The latest I wake up is at 7:00AM I like to have a coffee at this time Usually I drink it plain but sometimes I put salt or some oat milk in if we have it I generally avoid drinking calories This means I avoid soda or excessively dressing up my coffee Enjoying what calories I do consume is important to me. I don't enjoy drinks enough to be worth it Eat breakfast at 8:00AM (or an hour after I wake up) I like to have a banana and some peanutbutter I think it's important to get some protein and whatever nutrition comes from any fruit in the morning For that reason I don't like sugary breakfasts... donuts, pancakes, cereal they're better as desert or a treat Natural sugars don't count (fruits/whatever) Sometimes I eat leftovers for breakfast This morning I had a slice of pizza from a few nights ago with a banana For all of my meals I try to eat something that will satisfy me and allow me to be mentally/physically active Sugar, chips, etc doesn't do this for me If I am dying and need something to hold me over until lunch I'll sometimes have another coffee at around 10:00AM I don't like having more than two a day, though Eat lunch as early as 11:00 Sometimes it's right at eleven or later due to work/classes When I'm eating lunch, I like to prioritize leftovers I'll combine disparate portions to make a meal I'll prioritize things that I think will go bad the soonest I feel bad eating the nonperishables before the ingredients/meal that will go bad in a week Avoid being wasteful if I can help it Sometimes I feel like a janitor or a fly cleaning up the food no one wants I like to finish lunch off with an apple or something similar It's a treat that's better than most sweets and it's good for you If I didn't drink a 2nd coffee earlier, I like to have my 2nd around 1-3 to occupy me for a bit NO CAFFEINE AFTER 3:00PM Sleep is important Evening caffeine is fucked up no thanks sorry. Even if I'd need it, it's reckless Setting boundaries with the 'drugs' (meant in the literal sense I don't mean derogatory 'drugs') I consume is important to me Have a snack around 1-4 I like to be hungry for dinner but sometimes I feel like I am withering away if I don't eat Eat dinner as early as 5:00PM I start to get hungry at 5 and like to eat right on 5 Sometimes stuff is going on, though, so sometimes it'll be 5-7 8:00PM is too late, I don't want to be starving all day, eat, then go to bed soon after Food gets my juices flowing I like to eat with my family Eating alone can be sad. It's important to share a meal with the people you live with, I think Sometimes I have a treat after dinner but after that I avoid eating again in the night Generally, I've been avoiding eating meals in my room I tend to avoid multitasking (watching videos especially) when eating Focusing on my food makes it much more enjoyable to me, more flavorful Food can be something worthy of giving time to and experiencing Even if it's simple Sometimes when I'm feeling insecure I hide in my room and eat to avoid noise or judgement but I don't like this I've tried lately going outside if I want to get away from things It's nice. I already spend enough time in my room Usually sleep around 10-11PM No phone in my bed when I'm trying to sleep I don't use alarms on my phone. Too much opportunity for distraction I have my alarm clock on the other side of my room set for 7:00AM every day I have to get up every morning to turn it off. This wakes me up
